his painting reflects my time in the 60’s.
Even though this time was all about Retro, Music and the flower people etc., for me it was
not knowing my grandfather was stolen. It was the fear of someone stealing his precious
grandchildren and as a result, we were not to be told of our true identity. The
government was still removing children from their families. We were never taught of the
connection between the animals, plants and humans and how we are all connected,
physically and spiritually. I am incredibly sad for the fear and shame my family
experienced.
