My people understood the balance of our 
planet and the things we needed to do or not do, to survive.
To contain fires, my people would burn each year. This had the affect of fires not getting out of control. It would also regenerate the existing plants and retain animal, insects and bird life which were needed to survive.
It took a long time for the white man to accept this way, but now it is being adopted through out Australia. Thank you elders for sharing your knowledge.
