For thousands of years my people have gathered around billabongs. Here they would meet up with other tribes and family. They would tell stories of the past, present and any future.
They would sort out business. They would discuss women’s business and dance and have fun. They would pass on knowledge and share food. What a wonderful time for my people. 
It’s a different world we live in now. When my family go camping, I do get a feeling of what it must have been like for them.
