My totem meat is the Long Necked  Turtle.
My Tribe (Iman Tribe) tells the story of how they loved turtles so much. They called them “Our Meat” The elders would say “You can do anything,  but you must not eat “Our Meat.”
It was extremely sacred to them and never to be harmed. Unfortunately, many other predators ate turtles. But such is life’s balance.
