My people have lived on this earth for over 60,000 years. They learnt how to connect with nature and understood the energetic and spiritual effects of not following the laws of nature. My grandparent’s brothers and sisters were taken to the missions, and he did not want myself and my sister taken away, so we were never told of our ancestors and never taught the language or traditions but we always felt the connection through our art. This painting  reflects our journey. It took many years of research, chasing clues and driving into the outback.  Then our Ancestral Spirit connected us to our old family. They told us many stories. Now we are able to pass these stories down, through our art, for generations ahead. Not to be forgotten.
