Susan gets much of her inspiration in Taroom and the surrounding areas, the Homelands of the Iman Peoples. It is said, sadly that the knowledge of the Wildflowers, Plants and Bush Medicines is being lost and forgotten due to decades and decades of Displacement, Dislocation and Isolation. Through her art, Susan hopes to revive the interest in these plants and the safe healing abilities that many of them have for all Australians.
